Sightings

This group project focuses on the integration of live action and animation where we filmed a David Attenborough style mockumentary at a miniscule level, in which the rare wonder are miniature dust particle creatures coming together to create a musical composition through means of human trash.

Filming took place on the Goods Line in Sydney's CBD while the creature's design was taken into Maya where they were modelled. rigged and animated in. The textures were done in Substance Painter and the footage was tracked in Nuke as well compositing the entire film.
